Modern Steps
Structured outerwear in motion — a study of stride, drape, and the confidence of a well-cut coat.
Overview
Modern Steps was cast from our runway board: models who understand pace, posture, and how a garment behaves at walking speed. The brief was simple — no static poses, every frame caught mid-stride.
A seamless studio backdrop kept attention on construction: lapels, vents, and the sweep of full-length wool.
Approach
We lit for leg and line, with a low key light raking across fabric to reveal weave and weight. Hair and styling were kept controlled so movement read as intentional rather than windswept.
Designers now book this cast for showroom films and lookbook motion covers.
